Mientras están teniendo mucha diversión este año en el Honda Civic Tour -incluso haciendo unas bromas malditas a sus amigos de gira- los miembros de (+44) tienen el nuevo álbum en la mira.Cantante/bajista Mark Hoppus, quien formó el grupo con su compañero y amigo de Blink-182 Travis Barker, le cuenta a Billboard.com “definitivamente estaremos de vuelta en el estudio, probablemente a finales de año. Tenemos algunas ideas. Tenemos un par de duros demos en los que hemos estado trabajando. Yo sé que todos tienen pequeñas partes de canciones, y una vez que entremos al estudio, las vamos a juntar.”Hoppus dice que ambos guitarristas Shane Gallagher y Craig Fairbaugh contribuyeron al debut de (+44), “When Your Heart Stops Beating“. Él espera que ambos estén mas involucrados en el proximo esfuerzo del grupo.“No tengo idea de como sonará el proximo album, estoy muy emocionado acerca de no saberlo. Creo que lo emocionante de estar en (+44); una canción que comienza en el teclado puede terminar con una guitarra acústica, o canciones que comienzan con beats en batería electrónica, terminan siendo una gran canción de rock. Hay muchos shreds de guitarras en ella; eso fue entretenido. La parte mas difícil fue no cantar como Billy Corgan, por que su voz es una parte muy integral de esa canción. Me encontré emulando su voz y pensé, ‘Esperen, yo no estoy tratando de ser Billy Corgan. Solo estoy tratando de cantar las letras’, saben?”(+44) estará en el Honda Civic Tour hasta el 2 de Julio y planean hacer giras en Europa y Sur América antes de entrar al estudio.

Los Pumpkins suspendieron el show que tenian sold-out ayer (30-Oct) en el Fox Theater en Atlanta, debido a que Jimmy Chamberlin tenia una molestia en el pecho. Fue hospitalizado y sera dado de alta el miercoles.Al gordo le esta pegando tanta gira parece, esperemos que se recupere pronto.
